Smart Home
Smart home is a house with special advanced automatic systems for the centralized control of lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, multimedia, and appliances to provide security for the windows and many other applications. A smart home is “smart”, because all the systems may communicate with each other to monitor all aspects of daily life.
We use the Instabus EIB/ KNX application to have absolute control of the installations. Some of the numerous possibilities are as follows:
- Control of illuminating devices depending on the area’s brightness, saving energy
- Automatic notification in case of emergency
- Control of the space’s air-conditioning units, temperature and ventilation
- The sunshades and roller blinds descend according to the weather conditions
- Automatic irrigation depending on the air’s dryness
- In case of absence, the lights and the electrical devices may be turned on or off in random and logical times to create the impression that the space is occupied
